it would be cool if there is a "top gear" sort of ranking for bikes overall, not just the year they're made. like, is a trail bike from 2019 better than a trail bike from 2022, across all manufacturers not just one. That would be one hell of a channel, or series.

I've got a trek fuel ex 8 and it's an absolute beast for the money. After going to a few bike parks I'd like a little bit for travel maybe 160 on the front would be better than 140

Has anyone else noticed seeing these videos almost everyday about the "best bikes to buy" whether its road cx or mtb. Its almost as if were all being brainwashed to buy a bike. The bike industry is really pushing these youtube channels to sell their bikes.

my favorite fulll 2022 is the polygon sisku t8 its amazing for its price tag of 3500 with forks that are fox 34 and rear suspension fox float

Glad you're including reasonably priced bicycles. Not everyone has a spare £10, 000 for an S-Works. So sick to the back teeth of channels only reviewing stoopid priced bicycles.

'Best' or even a 'top 5/10' etc is kind of a personal taste.
Over the years I've grown more and more in love with Scott overall, that said, it might not be the best for everyone..I always love the feel, as each brand has their own 'personality' or feel in their bikes.
It might be the stiffness of the frames or the geo or the way they are assembled with the parts they prefer, not sure. But I do know I can recognise a Scott blind and pure on feel, from the cheaper ones to their high-end ones...and I love them 😅😁
