3 days at our Off-Grid Log Cabin | A Winter Wonderland! How has the cabin held up...?

We came back to Québec for the holiday season and made a trip up to our cabin for 3 days! It felt so nice to be back home; we instantly felt at peace. Luckily, there was a snowstorm a few days earlier so our land looked like a winter wonderland.
We spent the 3 days relaxing by the fire, playing board games, and celebrating our 6 year anniversary with our traditional chocolate fondue.
Unfortunately, we did not sleep that well because mice had gotten into our gable ends and kept us up at night. Once we return to the cabin full time, our first task will be to fully redo the insulation in the gable ends.
