How to Add A Power Switch to A Small Appliance, Lamp or Power Cord

In this video I add a rotary power switch to the power cord on my dehydrator. I'll show you how you can quickly and simply add a switch to nearly any two prong small appliance power cord like a lamp or electronic device (not extension cords).

Good job on this this esp explaining the polarity of the hot (smooth) and neutral (ribbed) sides of the cord and HOW its to be installed in the roller switch!

I think these switches are intended for lamp cord SPT 1.
SPT 2 cord is slightly thicker and won't fit; hence the need to widen the channel.
