Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)

Показать описание
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is quite the infamous virus, which rose to notoriety in the 1980s once it was discovered to be the cause of AIDS, a terrible disorder of the immune system. HIV is a retrovirus, so what does that mean, and how does that make the virus special? What does it do, and precisely how does it cause AIDS? This is good information for anyone to know, so let's get a closer look now.

I can't believe upon seeing one video of Professor Dave I am getting so much knowledge. I thank David Baltimore and Howard Temin for their contribution to fight against HIV. Because like with every drop of water a pot fills similarly with every small contribution a big achievement is achieved.

I'm so proud of some college students here in my hometown. They started educating people on HIV/AIDS and those infected students went against all their fears of stigma, tabboo or rejection and revealed that they were positively infected and undergoing ART. This was followed by more people both adult and young ones openly coming out to encourage other infected who live in the dark corners of their personal space to be brave and live the live they deserve, in a society that understands the disease rather than hate the victim. There will always be a few people who cannot accept facts and continue to hate victims until they themselves or their loved ones catch the virus.

People deserve to live in society that stands for each other rather than discriminate or ill-treat others based on their appearance or misfortune because not every AIDS patient is a whore, an addict or a sex maniac. There are people who got it while helping someone in need too. We must learn to see them.for what they really are, as humans, fellow humans and.love them because they need it most.

The fever, usually one of the first symptoms of HIV, is often accompanied by other mild symptoms, such as fatigue, swollen lymph glands, and a sore throat👍

If you were given a chance to rid the world of any disease, what would it be.

Why is it so hard to researchers is just because of the aforementioned retrovirus mutation that makes the nano-virus so very difficult to make a specified vaccine.

Good video, but not enough for medical students, explained well though, way better than lectures at my university
