Install MacOSX on External SSD Hard Drive -The Easy Way

Are you still using a Mac with an old slow-spinning hard drive? This tutorial will show you how to significantly speed up your old Mac by installing and booting macOS on an external SSD hard drive. This tutorial works great for any MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, or iMac. In this video, I am using a late 2013 Imac with a Samsung T7 SSD.

Incredibly helpful! This should be something a lot of people do because of their failing harddrives so there are many tutorials out there but NONE mentions that youll have to change the view to correctly format the drive. Weird on apples part to not have that shown from the beginning and so dumb of the other tutorials to not include that. Again, TY very much for this video, very helpful!

Great, short video! FYI a pop up might ask to confirm eligibility of the macOS, at that point you have to click on the Wi-Fi icon on the upper right and connect to Wi-Fi in order to install. That happened to me a bunch of times and was about to give up till I found the answer on another video.

MacOS completes the install but right when it restarts it says, "MacOS couldn't be installed on this computer", what could be the problem causing this issue?
