I am glad i got a '08 e92 335i its not an 335is but im not complaining. I'm proud i was able to buy it myself at 18 years old, i need to JB4 it for sure.

400+ horsepower on stock internals? The n54 isn't even breaking a sweat at 400hp. More like 800+HP on stock internals. There is absolutely no reason for internal upgrades on the n54 considering the limits of the stock block/internals have yet to be found. Current record is 861whp (1015hp at the crank) or roughly 338hp per liter. Only time will tell how much more power this absolute MONSTER of an engine can handle. For comparison, the s65 (4.0l v8 in the e90/92 m3) starts throwing rods before 700hp (a mere 175hp per liter), so the n54 is effectively 2x stronger than the s65! One hell of an engine

I have owned mine since 2011 and it still gets my hands sweaty from excitement after all these years. definitely won't sell it. My e92 m3 which I owned for 7 months didn't give me that feeling. I have done preventative maintenance to have no problems and no headaches.. Awesome review!

I just bought an E90 after my MZ3 Coupe got totaled (while parked!). I bought the 335i because I couldn't find a decent M3. But man, am I happy now! I can stretch my legs! The seat tilts back! The 335I is a keeper!

Just bought a 2008 convertible 335i I love it

Nice review, thanks.  I had one of these 3 years ago, a 2008 with all the options, including sport seats, navigation, keyless entry/drive, and parking sensors. For about $150 I bought the JB+ tune for it, which took about 15 minutes to install and added 50hp, which I could definitely feel. It was such a great driver's car and also very practical with the spacious backseats and trunk.  I miss it!
