Man you hit the nail on the head! That's the same thing I did. I lost contact with my son and my grandkids for almost 3 years and I'm finally paving the road to get back with them and show them that I'm okay now. It gets hard when I try to not be angry or not be sad or hurt. But I started going back to church and I'm learning. I'm like a little baby starting all over again!
