Hi Ma'am, your way of teaching is very helpful and so although now we are having BNSS in our syllabus still I am referring these videos because it is helping in clearing the concept. It would be really great to watch your BNSS lectures series too whenever out.

According to 29(4) MM have power same like JMFC so he can sentence upto 3 years mam... But you has noted 1 year 😢 in chart of hierarchy

1.) Additional chief Metropolitan magistrate can give sentence upto 7 years as he has same power as that of Chief Metro Polt. Mag.
2.) Metro.Pol. Magistrate can give sentence upto 3yrs and upto 10000/- fine.

THOSE WHO ARE WATCHING THERE ARE MISTAKES IN THIS LECTURE. ADDITIONAL CMM is defined under S.17 NOT Sec. 16. and other mistakes. Blunt mistake. cross check with BARE ACT. Sentencing is also wrong
