Ah thank you I’m currently working on the folklore cardigan and I messed up one of the cable stitches, this definitely helped!

Amazing! I'm new to knitting and I diligently used lifelines on my eight-row repeat pattern in my first cable piece.

This is amazing, Maryna! I've hated working cables because I didn't know how to fix errors. Thank you

I could have used this tip a couple of years ago! I was showing a friend a cable blanket that I was making and as soon as I laid it out, I saw a mistake I'd made ... 80 rows ago! It was a celtic knot style and quite a wide section. I dropped down those 24 stitches for 80 rows, knit them back up and it looked worse than it had with that one miscrossed cable, lol. I was devastated. I ended up pulling out the complete 80 rows. Watching this video I realise what I was doing wrong: I was knitting with those short strands for every stitch not matter how tight they became and I was turning every row so that I could purl back. So I had tight pulled stitches at both ends of the cables. I couldn't have botched it up more if I tried 😂 So, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this relevant, easy to follow video 😘

Genius! I love doing cables but cringe when I make a mistake. What an easy fix!
