Positive Psychology has benefits right across society - from school students, to policy makers, to conservationists and to everyday people. Find out why it's the talk of the town.

In February 2014, the Centre for Positive Psychology at the University of Melbourne hosted the Fourth Australian Positive Psychology and Wellbeing Conference. Six conference themes included Positive Education, Positive Organisations, Positive Health & Clinical Psychology, Positive Leisure and Performing Arts, Positive Psychology in International Contexts, and Positive Psychology and Technology.

Experts at this conference shared their thoughts on the field of Positive Psychology.

The Centre for Positive Psychology is committed to advancing the science and practise of wellbeing for students, teachers and school systems through the application of Positive Psychology. We realise this purpose through exceptional research, teaching and engagement activities that:
1. Contribute to flourishing students
2. Assist schools to create positive cultures
3. Strongly influence education practice, education systems and education policy
