A clear, concise, and interesting explanation. Thank you!

It’s fascinating that entanglement has such a squishy definition. It seems like a quantum “free body diagram” is needed to tease out the different effects.

I learned the hard way from my biology class that in fact, the mitochondria is the powerhouse of a cell

If they used two water bears and flipped one and the other one flipped then they have something. They just used it to close the circuit.

Scientist finds tardigrade in experinent, writes paper about it and claims it was intentional

I thought the definition was reasonably clear, it's when two photons (say) have polarisations which are individually random but which also correlate perfectly. Sound's like it's the paper that's muddying the water. Anyway great stuff, thanks -- [no relation btw]

"Check out my previous video I did with the cameraman from Cloverfield."
That one snuck up me and made me spit coffee.🤣

This is a weird crossover with Star Trek Discovery I didn't expect.

This experiment became a philosophical one really quick once you start if the tardigrade being there actually matters or not. Wow, i think we should all spend more time on this experiment and subject in general.

When an experiment is more about clickbait that meaninful research, add a tardigrade.

Some scientists have theorized that birds navigate on entanglement of photons.

DID SCIENTISTS JUST QUANTUM ENTANGLE A LIVING TARDIGRADE?

This guy is amazing at explaining very hard to understand things

Tardigrades are so endlessly fascinating! But I had a feeling that they were not actually quantumly entangled. That would be almost impossible. They've only successfully entangled single particles. Not full on life forms XD

I think they murdered 2 tardigrades and crippled another for science. This is what we get when those who enjoy burning ants as a child get into science. Ya, being a troll.

The reason this was or will be peer reviewed is no one thinks this is real.

I’m new to this, so help me clarify this up in my head….. wouldn’t the entanglement of any particles by nature, would be the opposite? in line with the law of polarity (positive/negative in balance in order for it to exist) so in line with the law of polarity they would be in opposites… yet entanglement of particles is at its simplest known form…. if we consider the law of conservational matter we are all particles in one state or another changing state and changing form, through energy, would that not mean that we too could in theory have entangled particles and we are all somewhat or somehow interconnected to one another in one large neural network communicating through means that we are not aware of (how do entangled particles communicate?) is it all pre-written and our life’s are pre determined? (That’s one theory) or are the particles aware of of themselves and in constant connection (String Theory)

I’m I making sense here or I’m I lost in my own interpretation and translation?

did scientists quantum entangle a living tardigrade? -minecraft dude

One.

Tardigrades are really cool, (sorry had to say that) , but not entangled. Thank you for making it clear that spitting a photon must share the energy. So many demonstrations fail to make this clear.
