Totally agree with all comments. I'm sure many people have thought of using vinegar, the classic solution for removing calcium deposits. But what are the steps to do it? My only thoughts were to sever the tube/line prior to where it enters the fridge, place the tube in a pail of vinegar solution and run the water until hopefully it clears the line enough to be functional. Then run clean water thru the system until the vinegar is gone from the system. this also depends on being able to buy some type of splice so I can reconnect the tubes without it leaking. The only other option seems to be to completely replace the fridge tubing, but not sure if that is doable.
