Pronounce the "K" and also apparently add an "I". On the one hand this is so simple, it's a German word, ask 100 Germans how to pronounce it and they'll all say it the same way. English is the probably problem here. But, I'm sure the company enjoys the mileage they're getting out of the confusion. The more we talk about it, the more they sell, I'm sure. BTW, the Germans say it "knee-pex" but with an audible "K". Audible, but not emphasized.
