That was a very Craig-friendly ranking. One could even say that you are looking at the whole series through a Craig-filter...

The classic films (including Octopussy, Thunderball, The Spy Who Loved Me etc) are way better than the machine guns and melodrama we got later on. They are the real Bond movies, made at a time when the series had its own unique identitiy.

"The Word is not enough" is the most underrated Bond movie ever. Shame on you to put it so low in this list.... Brosnan is the best bond after Connery

5. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
6. Thunderball

Great ranking video! So I’ve seen Dr. No and all of the Craig ones… none of the others but I want to watch all of them eventually. And I’m so glad the second Connery film (and not even the only one) is in your top 10 because it makes me even more excited to watch it. I love Connery as Bond! Skyfall is my favorite Craig Bond film (and at the moment my favorite Bond movie overall).

I've only ever seen the Craig ones (I think maybe 1-2 Brosnan ones too?). So I can't argue with many of the rankings haha, though glad to see No Time to Die so high, I really loved it.

) You Only Live Twice - this is Bond's DNA
2) On Her Majesty’s Secret Service - action AND romance
3) Goldfinger - classic formula
4) Goldeneye - so many great things, but somehow less a total of the parts
5) The Spy Who Loved Me - great classic stuff, but the ending is a bit meh for me
6) Casino Royale - great action and writing, but too emo
7) Octopussy - great action and well paced
8) Moonraker - fantastic looking and fun
9) Tomorrow Never Dies - maybe too much great action
10) Skyfall - a bit dour, emo and blue/orange, but well made
11) From Russia with Love - the train is great, nothing else is
12) The Man with the Golden Gun - bad but fun
13) A View to a Kill - bizarre, bad and fun
14) The World is Not Enough - soap opera feel, but almost works
15) For Your Eyes Only - some good action, bad villain
16) Live and Let Die - just a chase film
17) Die Another Day - first half is fantastic, 2nd half has issues
18) The Living Daylights - a bit dry and not much fun
19) No Time to Die - well made but not much fun
20) Thunderball - long, waterlogged and often bad
21) Dr. No - not much going on
22) License to Kill - Miami Vice
23) Quantum of Solace - maybe the action is good with a different editor
24) Diamonds Are Forever - just bad
25) Spectre - the worst 2nd half ever

Octopussy is an incredible film. Done as a mystery. Why is 009 dressed as a clown, what is he doing with the egg. This is a greatBond film, with Bond doing what he does best, investigate. The film plays brilliantly to Moore’s age. Kamal Khan a great villian, Louis Jordan the perfect villian opposite Moore. Their battle of wits in Sothebys is classic Ian Flemming Bond. And the Backgammon scene is classic Bond. Bond sliding down the bannister is classic. The buzzsaw fight is incredible, playing to Moore’s age. Maud Adams was great. The Tuk Tuk chase is a nice variation on the car chase. Bond in a clown outfit, is the only way for Bond to stop the bomb, but to find out the villains plans. A great pre title sequence. The only blemish is the Tarzan yell.

My favorites: Goldeneye, OHMSS, Goldfinger, Living Daylights, Skyfall, Casino, LALD, Octopussy, FRWL, YOLT, TND, Spy, TWINE. My lowest, I don’t bother with: Quantum, Spectre, Liscense ( way to Miami Vice ), DAD, DAF. NTTD was great first half, after Cuba, it bores me. Saffin is so dull for me. I constantly wondered how much longer. I didn’t like the more gritty, Bourne feel to Craig era. I don’t like Shaky cam at all. Skyfall is great, as Bardem brings gravitas to Silva. Plus the Barrel sequence, pre titles, villains, henchmen, gadgets, Moneypenny, q, wit, charm, “ shaken not stirred” are all part of the Bond feel for me.

I don't know what people see in The Spy Who Loved Me. The wooden Bond girl just kills the film. Every time I see this film high up on a ranking, that's when I change videos.

Craig is a really overrated Bond. He’s great in Casino Royale, however since Skyfall, he’s been phoning it in. The man seemed half asleep in most of his scenes in Skyfall, Spectre and NTTD.

Also speaking of Skyfall…😩
This movie might have one of the worst action movie protagonists in modern film. He literally fails at almost all of his tasks. He fails his mission in the beginning, he fails at saving M. He can’t even pass his training tests and yet he gets sent on a super dangerous high stakes mission…What the Actual Frick movie? And this results in one of the most mean spirited deaths in any movie.
The death of Severine. And Craig’s Bond shows next to no remorse for his failures. Skyfall is an exceptionally overrated film. The plot messy, as mention (the main character sucks), the main theme “the old ways are better” is run over by its own by its own script and ineffective protagonists. And Severine’s death scene is really mean spirited.

Imagine if that were Brosnan, Connary or Dalton in that situation

Better yet look at Ethan Hunt in the later Mission Impossible films. He’s an action hero. If he promised to save someone like Severine, he would of stopped at nothing to ensure it. And if he couldn’t it would haunt him. Severing had a horrifically tragic backstory and was tortured and brutalized before she was killed, yet Bond shows next to no compassion after failing to save her. The movie just goes to the next plot point.Compare Ethan Hunt at the beginning of Rogue Nation and the death of the music shop employee (look how that drives him to stop Lane), during RN with Ilsa and with the French Police Officer in Fallout. Look at how much more of an action hero, or just plain hero, he is in those films. Also no matter how bad MI 2 is, at least the main character is an effective and compassionate hero. The same can’t be said for Skyfall.

Further, Skyfall has the main theme of “sometimes the old ways are better”. when your main heroes are incompetent at their job which result in the death of innocent people and in the case of M, herself. No, the old ways are not better as this stupid pretentious film states.

Additionally, the other Bond Actors and Tom Cruise actually gave a shit about the characters they portray. Craig seemed so fricking board from Skyfall onwards. It’s really distressing to see. People give his and Skyfall especially far too much credit. I’m really sorry for my long rant, however it just pisses me off when people rank Skyfall so high as if it’s some ground breaking spy film. It’s a mediocre and sometimes even bad script hidden behind pretty direction and cinematography.

Again I’m really sorry for my long rank, if you have read all the way through- Thank You.

You're telling me you didnt jam out at the Madonna torcher opening ? We get to talk about bond together in a couple days but for the purposes of this video I just am not a bond fan and have only seen the craig ones and some of the Brosnan ones.
