Does God accept gay people?

The core of the question is not “does God love me”. That’s different. Im certainly not God but say I didn’t agree w what someone said and therefore didn’t accept it, yet I still loved them as a friend..see what I did there? There’s a huge difference. Acceptance is not love. God loves us yet there are some sins he doesn’t accept, substance abuse, sexual immorality are a couple.

You can tell people that God loves them without accepting everything they do as good.
God so loves us that he died for our sins. You don't elevate God's love by ignoring our sin.

I don’t understand most of you people. God taught to love one another UNCONDITIONALLY, not to say nasty things, or hurt others. Ppl who are gay are not hurting you. If you think they will go to hell, keep it to your self. It is their life. No human will stop sinning. Its’s impossible. Spread love. Not hate.

Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. See, just because God loves you does not mean he will except you. God loves all men. However, I truly believe that if you live in a life of sin and refuse to change, then you will not be accepted into the kingdom of God.

God also did love the people from Sodoma and Gomorrah but he still destroyed it bcs of their wicked ways. The point is God will always love you not your sins.

God loves you just like he loves everyone else but sin is sin. Him loving you does not mean you are free to sin

Romans 1:26–27 teaches that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. Of course God loves all and accept those who TRULY repents of their sins. Infact God loves everyone. But why would He give us a set of rules if He wants us to do whatever we want (infact the world is more drawn to sin). The bible was very clear:
1. Incest: Leviticus 18:6-19
2. Adultery or fornication: Leviticus 18:20
3. Masturbation: Leviticus 18:24
4. Lesbian/homosexuality: Leviticus 18:22

God loves and accept, He want us to realize our sins. But being sinful and trying to justify it is just wrong on another level

I am an atheist but recently been trying to connect to God and i asked a friend if me being gay is bad and he told me that it’s not really a factor. God loves all His children and made them as to who they are, and as long i accept Jesus as my saviour and follow God’s path, nothing will stop me from connecting to God and Jesus. I don’t think homosexuality can be cured, but the process of trying might leave you traumatised for life. Be who who are!
