Honestly, the best economy welder I've used is the Forney mp140. A good multi process machine for about $350. Only thing is the tig torch comes separate. They seem to have done things right with the one I bought!

I’m a beginner. Started about a month ago. I got the titanium easy flux 125 welder from harbor freight for $200. Spent like $20 on a wire spool, $35 on an auto darkening helmet, and got a cart for $50. And I love the setup. Works great for just learning

My personal advice to this video. Seek out the welder in your price range with the best duty cycle

Just bought a vulcan omnipro multiprocess welder for small and medium jobs, couldnt be any happier with it. it's not always the machine, sometimes its the welder, your work will show

At the very least get a machine that when you set the amps thats what it puts out.

Primeweld 180. Can do mig, flux core, stick and spoolgun. It can run 110 and 220 and it comes with everything except gas and electrodes

That little yes welder is a terrific machine for fabricating exhaust and doing garage stuff for cars. Did a nice roof rack and roll cage plus a battle bumper

Arc captain seems to be crushing it with the mig 200. 6 in 1, does gas and gas less mig, stick, spool gun, spot, and even lift tig. Dual voltage machine, has digital display tons of parameters you can tweak or leave alone, and it’s apparently a good enough machine that a lot of YouTube welders made it their main shop machine. I watched literal hundreds of videos on it, decided to order one. Gets here tomorrow. I’m gonna put it to the test. Got mine on Black Friday for 339, but it’s back to 399 now, free shipping, 2 year warranty.

I'm currently going to school for plumbing, ultimate goal is to become a pipefitter. And that's going to require knowledge of welding, and I thought a good way to get involved was to get into plumbing. I need a welding machine to start at home practice, gotta be cheap and easy to learn. Practice makes perfect.

I'm a DIY farmer who can glue metal togethed (welding). I've had pretty good luck with the Forney Easy Weld stick rig, and only ever had one will break. To be fair my dad took the mower in slammed into the rock with a 40hp tractor, little prep and bend, back to work

I bought my first personal use welder the other day and it is a multi process Lincoln and it was $1, 500 before tax and it’s worked perfect for what I’ve need it for so far and hopefully much more to come

I just ordered a YESWELDER YMW160 on Amazon for $185 shipped. It's a multi-process. Will let you know how it works!

My son and I lucked up a few years back and bought a ‘78 Miller Big 40 with less than 200 hours on it. I love it. I have welded off of an SA 200 and I had a 250 at one time. It runs just as smooth as a 200. I have run some of the cheaper Amazon welders as well and you’re right, they will get the job done on a budget.

I recently got a Yes 240v stick welder and their 240v tig welder, both have been amazing.

I've had a little Yeswelder stick/tig machine for about 2 years now. never given me problems. you get what you pay for and I've definitely gotten my money's worth. I put a whole floor into my project car with that thing and it's still going strong whenever I need it. As my buddy said, "I'd rather have a Yeswelder than no welder"

Everlast makes great welders. I've got several stick/tig machines. They start in the $200 range and go up to several thousand. All have met or exceeded my expectations.

I actually use a yeswelder arc205ds. I paid $130. Great little rig. Built my bumpers with it on my xterra

I have a harbor freight welder I think I paid $200 for it and room Flux wire and I love it. Obviously it's not for big projects but it does everything I need it to do
