The Rugrats reboot, Big Nate, the Blue's Clues reboot, and more original Nickelodeon shows are in the process of being deleted. Following in the footsteps of Warner Bros Discovery's tax write-offs, Paramount removed a bunch of Nickelodeon titles from their streaming service. What's going on?

This is why physical media is better than streaming.

What's wrong with Nickelodeon? That's basically obliterating people's childhood memories. Stephen Hilenberg, Janice Burgess, etc. are rolling in their graves.

What I don’t understand is,

Doesn’t Nick realize that Blue’s Clues & You has A LOT of global appeal? They should have never taken that show down. They made a huge mistake by making it a tax write off.

Removing shows for money is the stupidest idea ever!

I guess Nick doesn’t want new viewers to watch their old shows

This is why sucking off streaming and subscription services will NEVER be the answer.

1st, SpongeBob always dominates their mind when Nick wants to do something.
2nd, Animation can't catch a break.

Remember that Family Guy was cancelled after its second season and was revived because of high DVD/merch sales after said cancelling. Physical media does more than just preserve, it can also redeem and save.

Honestly, I'm glad that Ryan's mystery playdate is being deleted, that kid does NOT need any more attention than he already has.

THIS is exactly why I bought Avatar The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, the 2003 Ninja Turtles, and the first 100 episodes of SpongeBob all on DVD. Nobody is taking those shows away from me.

This has gone so bad after the mass removal of beloved Cartoon Network Originals like Foster’s home and Dexter’s Lab on Max. (I still have my max bloo pfp to this day, don’t ask why.)

This is why physical media always trumps digital.

This is why shows like LackaDaisy, Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, Murder Drones, and The Amazing Digital Circus Are successful shows, they aren’t owned by companies who treat animated shows and movies like crap and they actually let these shows have more than 1 season and they let these shows make it past 1 season.

First HBO Max, now Paramount plus? if Disney plus pulls this crap, I'm going to lose my damn mind...

To mention the removing of all those Cartoon Network shows, most of those shows were on Hulu and never left.
