Continuing in the short series on beginner's guide to programming in rust, we cover functions and statements in Rust. This video will show you how to declare a function, pass around parameters, specify types for those parameters, specify types for our variables, and perform basic calculations. We learn about the *let* keyword, the ways you can return values from statements and expressions, and we also learn a little bit about performing math operations based on the standard library mathematical constants and underlying math traits available to each primitive type.
