Maybe it was not meant to be, but it was, in the end, a rebuke of Trump, because his death happened in an extra-ordinary time in our country. What he represented, at his best, was the opposite of what Trump is. And people needed another one of those cathartic moments that we've been having since Trump was elected.

"John never spoke about that. That was not his intention". If he "never spoke about that" then how do you know "that was not his intention"? If it wasn't a rebuke of President Trump well you could've fooled me.
