Are you or a loved one experiencing unexplained fatigue, frequent urination, or sudden weight loss? These could be early signs of diabetes, a condition that affects millions worldwide. Diabetes doesn't just impact your blood sugar levels; it can also manifest in various ways on your skin.

One common skin manifestation of diabetes is diabetic blisters. These fluid-filled sacs can appear on your hands, feet, or fingers, indicating poor blood sugar control. Moreover, diabetic dermopathy, characterized by brown patches on the skin, is another sign to watch out for.

The feet, often overlooked, demand special attention for diabetics. Diabetic foot issues can arise due to nerve damage or poor circulation, leading to slow-healing wounds or even infections. Proper foot care is essential to avoid complications.

In women, signs of diabetes may manifest differently. Hormonal fluctuations can exacerbate symptoms like yeast infections or urinary tract infections. Meanwhile, in men, erectile dysfunction may signal underlying diabetes.

Understanding these signs is crucial, especially since diabetes can escalate into severe conditions like diabetic ketoacidosis if left untreated. Additionally, recognizing the top skin signs of insulin resistance, such as acanthosis nigricans or skin tags, can prompt early intervention.

But diabetes doesn't just affect the daytime; it can reveal itself at night too. Nocturnal symptoms like frequent urination or night sweats may disrupt sleep patterns, indicating uncontrolled blood sugar levels.

Regular check-ups with a diabetic doctor and adherence to a diabetic diet are essential for managing this condition effectively. Remember, recognizing warning signs of diabetes early can lead to better management and improved quality of life.

I had a lot of these symptoms and was convinced i was either pre-diabetic or stage 2....though Google and YouTube didn't help, i visited my GP and had the blood tests which also included prostate and cholesterol, turns out my cholesterol levels were higher than normal, i changed my habits mainly my sweet tooth and started 30min faster paced walking every day...to date my cholesterol is now 3.5 after 4months and i feel so much better within myself, i actually look forward to the walks now come rain or shine

I've experienced many of these, but am not diabetic (including Type 2). However, I realized they appear with bad diet (junk food high in simple carbs). Cleaned up diet and these "symptoms" went away. I would suggest the video is good because you could be on your way to Type 2 if you don't make changes.

I used to get hypoglycaemia 4/5 times a year. Didn’t have a clue what it was.
I started getting dizzy spells on waking up, sometimes this lasted for an hour. If I got up I would feel sick and have to go back to bed.
Since changing my diet first to veg/fruit smoothies, then Keto and now Keto/carnivore all these symptoms have gone.

Any of these symptoms can be other illnesses too like menopause or infection.

The content of this video is spot on.
I was diagnosed type 2 nearly 40 years ago, and have experienced ALL of three symptoms at one time or another.
Thanks for this great informative video 👍

Had all these. THe worst thing was the hypogycemic episodes as it made me feel so nauseous. Once I got a low carb diet in place cutting out all the high glycemic processed foods, then my blood sugar seemed to stabilize. I used to eat a 1 -2 dates to help me in between meals, and to stop my blood sugar going so low, but now I don't need to as my blood sugar seems to be much better. It wasn't even an option about changing my diet. I was becoming non functional. If I start eating a lot of highly processed foods like bread and cake again, I start feeling sick again. Its just not worth it.

I have all of them. I think I’m getting hypo and hyperglycemia at both ends. Got a cgm and going to track and see if it’s what causing my symptoms

I have type 2, with ALL these symptoms. Sleep apnea was actually diagnosed before diabetes. Within 10 years I experienced neuropothy to the point I can't feel my feet. I keep a portable urination bottle a few feet away from my water bottle. And despite not feeling my feet, they and my legs hurt during sleep!

I experience all of these or some of them and am only pre diabetic. I wouldn’t take this video too seriously.
