If you're selling beats online in 2022, you've probably noticed new producer channels popping up, getting views by the tens of thousands, ranking on competitive type beat keywords, and all seemingly out of nowhere. Are they buying fake views? Does this even work to sell more beats? What should producers do in 2022?

Don’t buy fake views; buy my new drum and sample kits:

I’ve had success buying views in the past on an old channel before I rebranded so I can speak on this topic from experience. Buying views helped me build that channel to 3.2k real subscribers before I stopped uploading. How it works is you upload a video, buy 5k-10k views, your video gets boosted into the rankings and that brings in organic traffic. You combine buying views with the right video tags for the best success. This was the trick everybody was doing 5 or so years ago (a lot of your favorite YouTube producers from back in the day were doing this too)

i thought i was crazy thinking this was what was going on, i've seen so many new channels pop up in such a short amount of time + gain the traction they had + at the time shit was discouraging to say the least.

nothing seems real anymore.

I suspected this too, some channel numbers don't add up.

If you're running a business, and you hear something is working, the least you can do is look into it, and decide if it could potentially help your business.

Part 2 should be interesting! Honestly, I know this topic is controversial in the producer community but I have long suspected this was going on. I wont say any names but I've definitely came across some channels that I also suspect they were buying subs too tbh. Great episode

For me, if someone buys views, that's their business. No time to waste energy. It only hurts that YouTube does not promote precisely us, the producers.
When I started uploading my first beats, I was getting about 30 views in 24 hours. No song of mine after 2 weeks, never exceeded the barrier of 50 views. That's why I envy those who buyviews. They will acquire fake views, but in time organic traffic will come. Maybe not as much as if they kept buying views, but certainly more than if you started organically. Personally, I would never buy views, but I can understand them.

I have seen producers channels they are getting 2k in 24 minutes with 10k subs and even bigger channels are not getting views that fast.

I just started being active, putting in work and organic growth feels awesome🔥🔥🔥🔥

I'm a man with pride and ego so buying fake views won't help me sleep at night

The comments ratio isn't an indication at all imo. My biggest video on my channel has 50k views and it was ranking first for a couple weeks, all organic. Despite that, it only has 34 comments and thats only because i took it off the page for a big artist and most of the comments are people asking how to lease it. General views to comments ratio shouldn't apply to beat videos anyway, especially if your subscribers are mainly rappers. Meaning we shouldn't expect fangirl comments on every beat we drop, if the artist is serious, he wont think about dropping a comment, he's just gonna click the link and lease the beat. This is my second channel and i made the mistake of wasting countless hours commenting on other producer's videos on my other main account, which im pretty sure its what ultimately killed it, because of all the engagement i was getting was from producers writing a comment back as fast as they could and leaving the video at 20 sec mark.

Great Video. No lie. Favorite part. 3:14. " Alright....Here the f---k we go." The delivery was epic on that one. That's a viral meme waitin' to happen. Can't wait to see the next vid. Stay real. Peace

I never seen this on a YT beat channels but i notice on some other YT channels people would put "head turning" thumbnail images of women in provocative positions or a crazy looking photoshop image. A lot of those channels get views, i think that approach is better than buying fake views. YT algorithm is weird 🤷🏾‍♂😂

Maybe we should be uploading one video per week with all beats together like a beat pack

because of the algorithm buying views is now the best form of advertising hahaha
