What is Interdependence?

I grew up learning that Independence was a quality that I should strive towards. Striving for independence is a pendulum swing to the other side of equilibrium from dependence.

Is crazy how interdependent I was in my marriage.. she wasn't she was more co dependent.. i was always spontaneous but I considered her opinion and ran everything across her first to make sure it was meeting both our needs.. but she never ran everything by me .. I wonder my my marriage failed.. but is good to know I was very interdependent
