Hello does this trick applies only if we multiply by 51 only or any number?

This only applies if multiplied by 51, the strange thing is that if you use any 2 digit even number and follow the same rule of first halving the number and then attach the original number after it and then divide by the original you get 51. Use a 3 digit even number and you get 501, 4 digit is 5001
