I've always loved when one of the writers or animation production crew becomes a voice actor in their own series. And it's even better when they become such a staple in their own show, they're hired on other series specifically as voice actors. Though in Mr. Lawrence's case, I've only ever seen him cast in Mighty Magiswords.

Plankton is my absolute favorite character in SpongeBob, and even in post movie hes always been enjoyable for the most part

Yknow, I can respect Plankton. He's a married man with alot of ambition and drive. Sure things don't go his way, but he keeps on going! Also, he has some of the best screams and yells in the Nick business since Invader Zim!

Plankton was originally intended to be a one shot character?! Thats wow hard to believe since he is such a big part of the show. I can't Imagine it without him. Edit: ( I do believe it I'm just suprised I wasn't being 100% litteral)

Plankton is one of my favorite villains. He’s goal driven, has a cool voice, lots of gadgets, a traditionally cartoonish character design, is consistent and someone I both love to hate and feel sorry for at the same time. With all of these traits, it’s hard not to appreciate his character.

I still can't believe that Plankton has low-pitch voice in the original English dub. While in my language's dub his voice pitch become higher. Like typical small character 😂
