The Lacal Ultra-light model LFC03-1N is the lightest weight budget backpacking chair that I have found on the market weighing only 25 oz. So, which of these chairs is best for your needs? Well, watch this video and then you decide. Then let me know in the comments which one you think is the best value or is there another chair that you think is a better value.

Fantastic review and comparison. The Lacal is a real discovery! You alluded to it briefly, but I find that it is much more comfortable and feels more stable (on solid ground) as you shift weight side to side and front to back. This is a huge plus for me, and worth the extra weight. The lack of warranty doesn't trouble me at this price. Many thanks for digging into this!

I am currently camping across highway2 in the National Forest from Glacier... LOL... a little west of East Glacier Park. Any who I have the REI chair and used it two days ago on a day hike, great chair. I didn't know there were after market feet, so I will look into that. Enjoyed your video.

Flexlite con: the design. It has no support to deal with forward or backward movement. There's a reason almost every manufacturer makes the main support run side to side rather than front to back, so your forward or backward movement (when, say, sitting down or getting up lol) are transferred directly through the legs. It's wild that a design like the Flexlite would ever make it to market.

The flexlite commonly goes on sale for $70 (it will for the labor day sale) making the competition much closer

And now! The moment we’ve been waiting for… everything, and I mean everything, is made in China. We keep spending money for the benefit of China. Where are the next companies in America that is going to produce for the benefit of our country and the people of America? Sorry. But I just get disgusted with our mindset. And I’ll probably buy one myself.
