360Turn Practice Drill - Filmed at Cotswold Water Park Hire Lake86, Thanks to Dominik

This drill is a great way of practising your turns during an open water swim session, without breaking the flow of your swim session or stroke.
Massive thanks to Regional & National Level swimmer Dominik (and his dad) for allowing us to use this footage whilst learning the corkscrew turn.
Technical points;
- Sight frequently going into the buoy so you know where it is and where others are around you
- Bring the legs into action as you approach and turn around the buoy to maintain a high body position and drive around the buoy turn.
- Keep the head down through the turn
- Sight as soon as you exit the turn to ensure you are on the right course
- Great for practising your corkscrew / rollover buoy turns. string several together to get a sharp turn.

Safety points;
- Ensure there are no swimmers behind you approaching the same buoy. if there are, do not perform this drill as you may collide.
- Be mindful of other lake users in general near the buoy
- If working in a group / pack / drafting exercise this drill will only work if swimmers are close together, and (I have found) in no more than a group of 3 swimmers inline drafting

Have a bit of fun with this one, enjoy!
