Sony A7RM4 - A7RIV Load Camera Settings

Set up your Sony Alpha 7R IV from my free Camera Settings file. Just copy my settings to your memory card and Load onto your camera.
The Setup includes my PAL Memory settings that ensure I never miss a shot. Loading this settings will also set up the Fn Menu, Custom Keys and the Recall Custom Hold settings.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you follow the copy settings exactly as outlined at the 40 second point in the video.

Hi Mark, thanks for the updated settings. In response to your request for feedback, as the settings for dial position 1, 2, 3 are no longer needed once loaded I set up my M1 to M3 settings as per your earlier video i.e. M1 landscape on a tripod M2 for sunny 16 and M3 for video as per your earlier video

Thank you for the settings. The settings work brilliantly when using just the shutter release button for focus and shutter release. However I noticed when using the back focus button (on 1, 2 & 3 mode) that the aperture opens all the way while focusing and in order to get the proper aperture setting I need to let go of the button before pushing the shutter button. Is something going wrong here? Shouldn't I be able to hold the back button AF while releasing the shutter? Or do your settings only work WITHOUT back button focus? Thanks for any feedback.

Hi Mark. I am looking for video crop settings? I read that we can have 10 levels of crop mode in Video? Appreciated it, hoping you have a reference to the info.

Mark, I downloaded the data files as instructed (7 files, 6 of 5KB, the CAMPRO.DAT files and 1 of 9KB, the CAMSET file) to an sd card. The CAMPRO files showed up in a list within 7RM4 and the CAMPRO file resided in a folder titled CAMPSET. When I pressed LOAD on the camera the response was "The file does not exist". I tried many downloads of the settings with some variation in folder structure (sometimes I would have a SETTING folder with the other folders inside etc), but no matter what I always got the same message "The file does not exist". I even upgraded the firmware on the camera to the latest version but to no avail. What am I doing wrong. I am doing all this on an iMAC OS10.14.4. Thanks in advance for any help you can give. John

Mark, wonderful work. Question.
Is it true that Sony cameras, in my case a7r4, when on a tripod, you always have to turn image stabilization off, also for bird photography ?
Someone mentioned that and said other cameras gad sensors that turned it off automatically when on tripod but not Sony

Hi Mark, that was an excellent tutorial.
The picture of the asian lady was absolutely gorgeous and the depth of field and how you her pop out of the images was beautiful.

How did you mange to edit that in post and what software did you use on getting her to look life like?

Hello Mark,
I am on a6500, with one apsc lens and 3 FE lenses. Never had fullframe body. Waiting for the satisfactory futureproof model. I find that the R4 is the first step into new kind of sensor and processing tech. Feels like the next one will be more sophisticated. While doing good with the apsc, I can wait one more year.
What do you think, should I wait for the R5 or get the R4?

Mark, can I change the file format in your settings to jpeg as the default and then if I want to shoot raw or both I could go into the settings to do so?
