STEINS;GATE and OCALTIC NINE are anime based on a game called the Science Adventure Series.
In the same series, I personally like the opening of Robotics Notes, so I encourage you to watch it.

I recommend Dorohedoro for a reaction! it has 1 opening and 6 endings, and all of them are really good. you could roll a dice and pick any of the endings and you'd pick a good song.

also, you were spot on about Steins Gate, it definitely has elements of time and mystery!

and Kaguya-sama Love is War is actually a really cute show... the opening is mostly metaphorical. the idea is that both of the leads in the show are very prideful, and they like each other, but neither wants to be the first to admit it. so they use a bunch of manipulative strategies to try and make the other person admit it first. it starts out seeming like they're gonna be really toxic, but it's quickly apparent that they're both just awkward, and taking things way too seriously because this really matters to them, and they're afraid to say how they feel.

there's a lot more to both of their characters, but the way the show presents that is part of the fun... and also, the show is hilarious. so even though the romance is a bit of a slow burn, you'll never be bored. the side characters are all fantastic too.
