Secure Boot is the latest generation of UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) security features in Windows. It has replaced the outdated BIOS architecture on modern motherboards. The function checks the signatures of the boot code. If the signatures do not match, then the OS will not boot. This is typical for unlicensed (pirated) assemblies of operating systems.

Thus, if the OS or drivers are not signed with a valid digital signature, installing and downloading the software is not possible.

To install any operating system, you must disable Secure Boot.

What I have to do in case if there is no secure boot option in my BIOS (Laptop HP 250 G8) ? When I press ESC and then choose boot device - there is no flash drive appeared (Also tried FAT32, NTFS, GPT, MBR). I guess the reason is in absent of Secure Boot option.
