How to Disable Secure Boot Option In Your HP Laptop
Secure Boot is the latest generation of UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) security features in Windows. It has replaced the outdated BIOS architecture on modern motherboards. The function checks the signatures of the boot code. If the signatures do not match, then the OS will not boot. This is typical for unlicensed (pirated) assemblies of operating systems.
Thus, if the OS or drivers are not signed with a valid digital signature, installing and downloading the software is not possible.
To install any operating system, you must disable Secure Boot.
Disabling secure boot is everyone's business. If the user wants to work on a different operating system, this is their right, but disabled protection can expose Windows or other OS to malware infection.
As mentioned above, disabling secure boot is required to use other operating systems, such as Linux distributions, that do not have valid security keys for various reasons. We read about setting up the BIOS for installing systems.
