In this video, we put together a massive 10.5” Handheld Emulation / Gaming Console Powered by a Snapdragon 855 and it has a Super AMOLED Screen!
For this, we use a refurbished $300 Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and an Ipega 9083 controller. This setup also offers HDMI over USB C, So it can be turned into a console for the big screen!
It runs any android game and it will even do Gamecube, Wii, 3DS, PSP, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, N64, and many many more!

Another thing to note, is that if you want a 10" model, you're only getting LCD on the Tab S7, whereas the Tab S6 uses AMOLED.

I honestly don't know how you can recommend these ipega controllers. Based on your recommendation, I tried three different variants of their controller. Suffice to say, most were really uncomfortable but the worst part were the deadzones. All these controllers have horrendous deadzones making most modern games unplayable. They might be fine for retro games, but modern games... forget about it.

The next big thing to arrive when it come to emulation on android devices is when a ps2 emulator is able to fully run on it. Until then it would be nice to run some gamecube resident evil games in future emulation videos.

I bought one. It was too good a deal to pass up. I was actually looking for a decent android device to use as a wireless monitor for a SFFPC of mine, so ETA Prime's video was serendipitous. Got here just in time; it's sold out now.

I'd be tempted to wait. With the S8 line just months from launch, the S7 line will drop like a rock. I have a S7+ and am glad I did not buy a S6. But art is my main use so I need the extra ram and larger screen. I already plan to get the S8 ultra when announced.

I have the tab S7 and purchased a Power A Moga X controller. I gotta tell ya, it's a whole new experience for me compared to using my Ipad Pro. Never went back to my ipad.

Hey Prime I got an LG Dual Screen: G8x 855 snapdragon to be exact and its a great!..However I feel that I havent tapped fully into this machines power. I've managed to put some roms and yea it does work but I think a person like yourself that reviews devices for us the techno nerds, ..have a good hand in bringing gaming fruition. this machine also can double as 3ds and DS respectively. I have this since its release as my Christmas gift.
Would definitely use this for Emulations when I want to... but do use this mostly for Drawings and such and stuff.

I wish they'd make a controller like that with the buttons above the analog stick. It's such a stretch to press the right triggers whole using the face buttons.

For about $100 the Lg G7 phone is a great option, and it can do HDMI out to TV over its USB-C port. Its got the Snapdragon 845, which is also able to run many Gamecube and Wii games at 60 with occasional dips. Great option for dirt-cheap emulation, and just a really nice phone overall. For HDMI out you NEED an adapter with power input though, otherwise battery drains too fast.
