1. x^2 = 144
square the equation
144 can be obtained by 12^2 because 12 x 12 = 144
x= 12
x= -12

Answer: ±12

2. 9b^2 = 125
square the equation
divide: 9b^2/9 and 125/9
b^2 = 125/9
Get the roots of the equation
b^2 = 125/9 ----> b = ±5/3

Answer: ±5/3

Hello po! Sir, paano po kung yung number na meron squared hindi nauuna for example po: 1-4r²=0 lilipat po ba yung 1 sa kabilang side? so magiging -4r²=0-1 po ba?
