After years of trucking and doing as much as possible to stay OFF the brakes, I can see how it would be a challenge to the muscle memory! Like a sled in deep powder, it's so counter intuitive to turn the skis one way to go the other, but once you figure it out it feels natural.
I'm happy for you guys that you had some time to relax, now get back to work!

Can you imagine an electric vehicle on that track??? Especially for Eric's sake. I got me some shares and I hope others do so as well!!!

Hear me out: A whole new rally class of tandem semi tractors with all-wheel electric drive trains. I think you have the corner on a whole new motor sports market.

Poor Eric, looked absolutely terrified when he started off, he did well in the end.👍

I used to drive a lot of equipment like forklifts and AT forklifts like Lulls. Because those have hydraulics that you will be operating while the machine is also driving, you need higher engine RPM to get the hydraulics enough power to move your load, but you don't necessarily need wheel speed, so left foot braking is really useful to keep the speed of the machine under control while revving the engine a little for the hydraulics. I haven't done it in years, but I imagine I could pick it back up if I ever wanted to give Rally a try!

If you don't have friends, who will mock you mercilessly when you show a weak spot?

So great. As a rally driver who lives just outside of Banff, I’m thinking we need to get some rally fun going that the new property 🤟

The part at the beginning when he can't figure out the clutch infuriates me because the trainer was doing nothing to help him. I have taught several people how to drive manual and it's actually really easy to teach that part if you use a little common sense and some practical examples. The problem here and with most people is they think the clutch is a linear thing. Let it out let it out let it out, at the same speed, and it's not. You let it out until the bite point, hold it a beat, then let it the rest of the way out. You can demonstrate that to them with something they are familiar with, like the brakes. Start going in straight line and show them when you brake for a stop light you press the brakes until you reach the amount of force you want, then when you are fully stopped you press them harder. Then do it again but show them what happens when you continue to apply more and more brake pressure, how the car comes to a super hard stop. Then show them that same principle with the clutch. For my 3rd example I let the clutch out in one motion and show them how it stalls, then in the 4th example I let the clutch out until it very lightly grabs and show them how I can blip the throttle and the car doesn't lurch the clutch absorbs it. Doing this i've never had anyone take more than 3 or 4 attempts to get going.

It was a outstanding pitch yall did, i am proud of you guys for getting this amazing option to retrofit older bodied trucks on the road longer! They have more style and appeal in my opinion. Keep up the amazing work and bless your roads ahead!

Great show! Nice job Eric- learning the standard shift can be very intimidating at first and mistakes make the nervousness pile up until nothing is possible it seems. I don't know you but i was very impressed by your skills and attitude! Keep it up guys!

I am glad you guys are getting some time to relax and have some fun. Working all the time is not good for your mental health.
