Views from the top deck of a London double decker bus 😍

The front seat on the top deck is the best ride in town. Simple, convenient and cheap way to understand and marvel at London. Plus, sometimes, like I did, you get to have a nice chat with some lovely people. 🌹For my taste it beats any amusement park ride.

The route that I love is the 139 Waterloo to Golders Green. Getting on it in mid-December after 5pm with my dad has become a birthday tradition of mine (my birthday is in December). Crosses Waterloo Bridge and goes up the Strand, passes through Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus, then moves along Regent Street and Oxford Street. You see all the Christmas lights. We usually get off it at Baker Street.
