The BioWare SHUTDOWN!?

Hello guys AtomicDudMan here and welcome back to another video. It has been known for quite some time, after the shutdown of Visceral games, that BioWare has been in Electronic Arts sights for a long while now. BioWare has been sweating bullets up until launch for their new title ANTHEM that just launched on Feb 22nd of 2019.
ANTHEM was the last hope for BioWare and it looks to be that the well known studio has blown their last shot. From the lackluster campaign to the endless loading screens to the various glitches the game has. Anthem looks to be in rocky waters right alongside the developers at BioWare. When Anthem was ready to be fully open to the public it was open season to all YouTubers that were going to rip this game apart such as myself and others alike like TheAngryJoe show, ACG, Gamingbolt and so many more. But what made things even worse is that IGN, the happy soy boys of the industry that reviews do not weigh as much due to the fact their reviews for video games are not as transparent or blunt. But this time things are vastly different.
IGN gave anthem a 6.5/10, Metacritic gave it a 60% and GamesRadar gave the game a whopping 2.5/5! IGN never usually gives this low of a rating on any AAA title! What does that say about Anthem? This is a MAJOR loss for Anthem, many people are turned off now that the game has released and it is only a matter of time that EA pulls the plug on BioWare. I understand that Apex Legends is doing very well and has saved EA some grief but the sad truth is that it won’t be enough to save BioWare studios. They are on a sinking ship and it shows from all the mass amounts of reviews that have come out the past few days.
If you do not think that BioWare is going to be shut down, think again. Just look at EA’s track record these past few months from shutting down studios to cancelling various Star Wars games that were almost complete, due to the fact that EA had a FEELING that the game would not be successful because it was a single player experience. Although Anthem is games as a service, it is already doing very horrible on the charts. I was hoping that Anthem was going to do well seeing the game has been in development for such an extensive amount of time. Anthem has had an extremely hard launch and BioWare is under a microscope from EA and it is only a matter of time until BioWare is thrown into EA’s developer graveyard, left to rot and be forgotten in the years to come. All I have to say, is Rest In Peace Bioware, you were always loved and will forever be remembered in a fondness before EA sunk their claws into you.
