i used full fat milk on a rose plant with white fungus, and it worked perfectly! did it mid morningon a hot day- had let the plant dry out nearly completely and dosed the leaves and stems and i waited til eve to give a drink of water to the soil and i swear it killed every bit of mold and weeks later there is only healthy glossy leaves and no infection.

I just need to thank this video. It has helped me every season to get to a good, organic harvest in New York. Thanks!

Thank you so much for this tip, I'm one of those cases of done everything right and have powdery mildew anyway. I have a balcony Garden on the 5th floor in Berlin Germany. It is full sun, and we get a lot of wind, great circulation and everything dries off. Despite that, it has been raining a lot the last couple weeks and my squash zucchini and cucumbers all have powdery mildew. Very happy I found your tip and have sprayed all my plants with milk.

Thank you so much for this tip Kim. My summer squash plants were being decimated by powdery mildew. I came across another one of your videos that suggested 1 part whole milk to 8 parts water. Tried it in a small dollar store spray bottle, and only sprayed the top exposed part of the leaves in sunlight. But dang, it still works, and works VERY WELL. Again, thank you so much for the tip!

Great tip. Stopped the powdery mildew dead in its tracks on a very young zucchini that I planted a couple of weeks ago. I was just doing some research on it and yours was the top video on Google search. I'm now going to apply it to some pumpkins that haven't been affected yet as a prevention. I also gave the remaining milk solution to the zucchini as a feed and it is looking good 👍

Kim, I also use whole milk in a pump sprayer to combat insect pests such as aphids, white flies, thrips, etc.  It works because many of these types of small critters aspirate through breathing tubes in their feet, and the lactose in the milk plugs up these tubes so they can't breath.

I got this mildew on my cucumbers at our community garden this year. We used diluted milk (60% water/ 40% milk...similar to your mixture) and it worked well. In retrospect I did not cut off enough of the affected leaves so I will do that next time. I'm SURE I'll see it again in another season!! This is a great tip.

I've try milk spray on my Gourd vines and it works on getting rid of that powdery mildew !
I also used 2 tablespoons of baking soda / gallon of water with a bit of dish soap and that works well for me too.

I have found that mixing a tiny bit of antibacterial soap and a little dawn soap in a spray bottle will also get rid of the spots before they spread. It works and doesn't harm the leaves

I've used it for years and years, it was discovered at the experimental farm here in Canada.

I had 4 pepper plants devastated with powdery white mold on the under leaves and one treatment a day before the weather went from humid to sunny made a huge difference in 48 hours. With milk and water in a sprsy bottle.*
