Correction (sorry!): Princess Elizabeth was not George V’s first grandchild (Princess Mary’s 2 sons were both older), but she was his first granddaughter.

Salazar used the term "pretinhos" to reference Africans. He was the "educator", the "savior" of the inferiors but not the "exterminator". So it is racist, white supremacist but not tendentionally violent. But there were forced work in "Portuguese" until 1974. "Pretinhos" means "little blacks" probably more "little ni....".
