In February 1952, on the death of her father King George VI, the 25-year-old Elizabeth became Queen. During her long reign she was served by 15 Prime Ministers and met an extraordinary array of people. "[She] has enabled her country to feel that it's still what it was even though it no longer is." Would have loved to hear elaboration on that one. Feels like these days the UK is considered an unimportant country with little influence, but we're still arguably joint 3rd most powerful country along with France. Germany/Japan dont have so much foreign influence and Russia has proven to be way over-rated.
