Zelenskiy accuses Russian forces of lighting fire at Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskiy says Russian forces started a fire on the site of the occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine and that the blaze was visible from Kyiv-held territory.

Zelenskiy says on the Telegram app that radiation indicators are normal.

That’s a cooling tower. It’s just a big empty tube with water pipes at the bottom. Its only job is to spray hot water inside so it cools faster. There’s nothing flammable in there, no way for anyone to catch fire. unless something intentionally took flammable stuff that shouldn’t be there into it and set it on fire

Since when do cooling towers have sufficient combustable material at the base to sustain a fire. Last i checked, water doesn't burn. I can see the possibility of an electrical fire at the pumps, but not what I'm seeing.

Why would anything burn at or under the tower, unless it was put there to burn?, ive worked under the towers believe its just concrete and water, so whats burning.
