20 Years of the Lucerne Festival Academy: Stephen Menotti

Happy Birthday! For 20 years, young musical talents from all over the world have been focusing with a spirit of curiosity on the new at the Lucerne Festival Academy. To mark the occasion, we spoke to people who have been close to the Lucerne Festival Academy over the past twenty years: Alumni, guest artists and leading personalities.

Trombonist Stephen Menotti first came to Lucerne in 2006 and has thus witnessed almost the entire history of the Academy. We were curious to learn what changes he has seen over the last two decades and how he hopes the Academy's journey to continue.
