Lets face it, the AM.170M is a very capable bike and we all know just how amazingly good it is on the gravity side of things and so it was time to give it a full testing on the climbing capabilities.

The Continental Kryptotal tyres grip like you wouldn't believe, coupled with the mind blowing efficiency of the DW6 suspension and the frame geometry, climbing came very naturally to the AM.170, it is a pleasure getting back to the top of the hill for more gravity.

DW6 KINEMATIC:
Dave Weagle’s DW6 linkage + custom-tuned shock of your choice.

STRAIGHT THROUGH SEAT POST
Mullet set-up (27.5" +29"), a straight-through 74º seat tube that keeps the seat low for descending & perfect positioning for the climbs.

CHASSIS:
Custom carbon tubing gives the perfect flexibility and stiffness for a calm, composed and playful ride.

What are u running for sag? Im hitting 28% on my am170. I do agree, climbs well, tons of grip and good climber for such a big bike.

Good for you climbing on a long travel bike, it must feel like a tank 🤪 I've a got a few bikes, my moto is "different bikes for different rides" I wouldn't take my 160mm full suspension bike tackling hills, I'll use my 120mm XC bike 😁😜
