NASA Astronauts Continue to Tweet Despite Government Shutdown

NASA TV, NASA.com and NASA's social media sites are all off line during the government shutdown, leaving the astronauts aboard the International Space Station and their Tweets from space the only voice of the space agency during the shutdown. Jen Markham explains.

I see no reason why the NASA website should be down. I can understand it not being updated but not removed. The site and its content was already paid for and the cost of hosting is cheap and would have also been paid for already.
