Prophecy does matter Jesus held Israel accountable for not knowing the hour of their visitation. Also Jesus have report cards to the churches in Revelation and one he promised will go thru the tribulation if they didn't repent and get right and one he promised would not go thru the trib. You can not know the day nor the hour because those who were guided to write it knew there would be time zones and a moving date line during this period.
It actually shows they knew the planet is round and how we'd interact with that fact, also it suggests many of the Saved would be in fact in places such as the Americas.

As bad as things may get before the Rapture people will still believe in Marriage and still be getting married. Also the world was hearing Noah's preaching and ignoring him. Preaching the Lord will continue no matter how bad things get.

Proof of A Pre trib Rapture. Pay Attention to the Cloud and Clouds Jesus appears In and With. Acts chapter 1 verses 9 10 11 Cloud. In Red Luke chapter 21 verses 27 and 28 Jesus is coming In A Cloud the Rapture. These views are different and have no effect on salvation for the true believer. It will be a beautiful surprise for those who believe in a mid-tribulation rapture when Yeshua removes His bride.

No, we don't all think that the Day of the Lord happens in the last six months or so. Some of us think it happens at an unknown day or hour (as in, the specific day and hour) after the signs that Jesus and Paul talk about, which includes the abomination of desolation at around the midpoint.

Rapture = 1 Oct 2046
Tribulation Starts = 18 Oct 2049
Great Tribulation Starts = 31 Mar 2053
Jesus 2nd Coming = 11 Sep 2056

Plan accordingly, or don't.
