Conversation with Philip Kotler: Sustainable Marketing to Create and Deliver Value | Philip Kotler (Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, Professor Emeritus of Marketing)

The purpose of marketing has been to produce endless economic growth. But endless economic growth will produce a warming planet and harmful climate events. We need to counter normal "commercial marketing" with "social marketing." Social marketing acts as a corrective to excessive examples of commercial marketing.
Philip Kotler, the father of modern marketing, introduces real-world examples of companies that have successfully executed a well-balanced profit-making & sustainable marketing for the betterment of their companies and society. #PhilipKotler #Marketing #iphone14

Yes Kotler is extremely correct at the branding and the main arena in social marketing. We often buy goods but get cheated in this case the customer valuation part goes null.Hence, social marketing has a great varsity in case of brand negotiation and the CRM hence values these things are characterised by zero total cost or say zero marginal cost in case of putting this marketing habit at last.We have some NGOs who works likewise in the case of social marketing, it enhances the sudtainability economically.

Kotler is incorrect. Social marketing isn’t the same as commercial marketing. I won’t even use the term “social marketing” but rather sustainable marketing to describe the pathway that marketing needs to take to help build a better future. We also need to consider new publications in marketing school that isn’t *cough* Kotler.
