Hey Vlad, good stuff, well done video, straight forward and too the point. Adding images always helps!

I don't know if you have already done this, but I have not read those Degrowth books you referenced, but I am curious about the strategy they speak of. Can you do a video on the main points of those books?

growth is gluttony. If growth is your goal, you are not only dissatisfied with less, you are dissatisfied by not more. You have to have more always. What if you felt this way about Skittles? Obviously reckless.

Great video, I’m new to the whole idea but I find it appealing and a necessity moving forward

Yet, this [degrowth]’s obsession with overall material throughput and GDP growth — itself a statistical construction that obscures precisely who benefits from growth in a capitalist economy — fails to take into account that the vast majority of people in capitalist societies also need more material stuff. You can't get rid of the contradictions of capital if you don't fully change the system. The quintessential method of this perspective is that of the ecological footprint tool which ultimately argues it is consumers who drive economic decision-making and ecological degradation.

Interesting.
I thought that this will be against personal development.
I think that the right is my rights above others and if you have problem with the system then you are wrong
However the left wing also works for the individuals interest but do not let you to rule over others. If the system does not serve individuals then the system is wrong.

Don't really agree but feel the effort is well intentioned.

Ok, it does make sens. Now how do you intend to change humans to achieve this goal. Humans look for what they perceive to be the best for themself not for the best for humanity.

Your definition of degrowth is a bit weird, and it forces the rest of your arguments to not exist on a solid basis.
From what I've gathered, degrowth is more of a tool. It is not an ideology in and of itself (like you are trying to present here), but a set of ideas that can be adapted. I can see just as easily a fascist state or anarchist individuals using degrowth to further their goals.
