I made a previous video with every genre The Beatles did, however I felt like there were actually a decent amount more genres I could include, to the point where I decided to make this new video.

Thanks for watching! Check out some other videos too if you would like:

Insane how much they recorded in just under 8 years

I love that they didn't just stick with one style or genre. They experimented so much and were all the better for it.

I disagree with some of the classifications, but it's unquestionable that the Beatles were, indeed, very eclectic. They weren't stuck to just one or two genres and styles, as most artists are.

As I've told people for years if you like punk, metal, goth, progressive rock, art rock, world music, etc., you can thank the Beatles.

No wonder 7-8 year old me was so obsessed with The Beatles. Their music is so diverse and theres so much variety in their songs! Seems like I’ve always loved variety, even if I didnt know what it meant back then, lol.

This just shows how versatile these guys were at such young ages and it’s still amazing, definitely one of the greatest rock bands of all time and the reason I learned guitar back when I was younger

That's why I love the Beatles so much. And that's also why my favorite album is the white album. I absolutely love the fact that they did so many different styles of music, in only a few years!

Don't forget the proto-shoegaze song It's All Too Much on Yellow Submarine. Another oft-overlooked Harrison gem.

I truly think that nobody will ever come close to being as diverse as The Beatles. They were in a recording studio together for around 8 years and in that time, with the help of some amazing technicians and Abbey Road, evolved music by 20 years. It gave other artists a kick up the backside and drove quality in the proceeding years.

That makes me feel GOOD. And is a reminder of WHY they are and will always be the best band EVER!!!

I love this. Proves how insanely large of an influence they had over all future genres of music. How insanely talented, experimental & groundbreaking they truly were. Note: I only wish this video played longer clips of each song. It’s way too fast, and of course, if you’re watching this, you can never get enough of Beatles music! 🎶

This is why The Beatles were and are the best band in the world

And because of this, the Beatles are cited as an influence by almost every artist out there, from reggae to punk, from metal to rap. Indeed, one could say their eclecticism was their most remarkable trait.

I never thought of I Want You (She’s So Heavy) as doom metal but it makes sense.

I believe the the Beatles can make a song with any instrument you handed them, even if they’ve never played it

This. This right here perfectly encapsulates why I don't care about what genre a song is if long as I like the sound of it. And why I don't put songs in categories outside of the very broad rock, pop, country, metal, rap. Because the genre shouldn't matter as long as you like it.
