Allah SWT is capable of creating everything out of nothing, He can very easily turn out lives around. All we have to do is Pray and make Dua

Yasir Qadhi has a very recent lecture in this topic on his YouTube channel. He has a more balanced view, that is there does exist something called clinical depression. He had strong words for Muslims who deny this and labelled others who have depression as being people who have weak Emaan. He experienced this and also brought evidences from the Prophet Muhammed SWS when he felt low and sad. Would you call the prophet as having weak Emaan?

Indeed, a Muslim CAN NOT BE DEPRESSED...unless if they are not sincere...
A Muslim can not LONELY, nor can he/she be DEPRESSED...!

TO BE A MUSLIM IS TO UNDERSTANDING THAT THIS WORLD IS ALL ABOUT Hardships...thus we strive with Hope and Faith to look forward to a better life I'm Al-Jannah by The Grace of Allah(Aja Wa Jalla)...
Depression is not mental problem but rather a Heart condition...thus Allah(swt) say

Surah Ar-Rad, Verse 28:
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ

Those who believe and whose hearts are set at rest by the remembrance of Allah; now surely by Allah's remembrance are the hearts set at rest.
