During Race1000 in Germany I have filmed modified cars accelerating at the 1/2 mile straight. In this video you will see some heavy modified cars. The esmotor Porsche makes around 2000hp. It has a lot more potential but the beast is very hard to keep straight. The r8 was smooth.
