Just the fact that a regular desktop CPU can hang with a threadripper is insane. So the threadripper wins in one thing but doesn't it lose in in every thing else?

One slight problem: the 3090 ti gets some ridiculous score like over 5, 000 points and the 4090 ti is supposed to be twice as fast as the 3090 so that kind of makes any CPU score meaningless

Noticing that with my 3080ti and 7950x both being used in blender is faster than just the GPU on. Why do you think that is? Are 7000 CPU's catching up to Nvdia 3000 GPUs because of the 16 cores?
