L&D nurses are built different man. I spent 3 weeks in L&D before my preemie twins were born and those nurses were angels. I mentioned to my husband once we were home that I almost missed being in the hospital and he said “no, you just miss the nurses, they were amazing and became your friends.” Thank you for being so wonderful!!

If every maternity unit had nurses like you ... there wouldn't be as many horror stories. Your truly amazing and well done for all your hard work towards new mothers x

Honestly thank you. I was in a super toxic marriage with my first baby my nurse stayed with me literally 8 hours after her shift ended.
When I went to my first bathroom I had to ask her to help me because I was torn so bad and it hurt.
She was the one that helped bathe me my first shower.
I think about her often you guys are saints thank you so much for taking care of us during our most vulnerable hours

I will never forget the nurse that helped me take my first shower. I literally asked her if I would ever feel normal again 🥹 she was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable in such a vulnerable time

That first shower was the scariest thing ever after my first kid was born. I was so scared I would fall. I had this nurse who held me up and made sure i was stable. She also helped me pee. Because that first pee after birth is terrifying too. Literally feels like everything will drop out of u. Im currently pregnant with my second child. A boy and im so excited for delivery. I pray the nurses are like u

I had 4 kids. I never had anyone be this nice or help me with anything. After my first a tech had to clean me up hours after she was born because the nurses hadn’t. I was then left alone at night (no visitors allowed) with my newborn and my still numb legs. It was the worst night.

I had my first shower after my second c section 4 months back and in India we have attendants instead of nurses helping us. Mine was a 45 year old lady who had grown up kids and she assured me that she has my back if I am scared about falling and she rubbed soap on my legs and back because my stitches still hurt so I could not bend. She also helped me dress into fresh clothes and that shower felt like heaven! So so grateful to her ❤️

I had a stillborn 10 years ago and having the nurse take time out to help me was just next level. You all are angels. ❤️

If a nurse wants to film their jobs, THIS is what that should look like. Kudos for taking such good care of those patients. 💜

i will never forgot my nurse with my oldest son. she helped me take a shower, wipe, put my tucks pads on, everything. did it all with a smile. i bled a lot and blood was dripping all over the floor & on her. she was a pro at making me feel comfortable and never once made it seem like she was grossed out (even though you know she was 😂).

Gosh the nurse that helped me deliver my first baby was my best friend in that moment. I was scared and so was my partner, we both didn't know what to expect or do. She gave me confidence, peace and comfort when no one else could. She was everything I could have asked for and more. Thankyou for everything you do ❤ for me it meant much. You are special people for sure!!!

After my C-section I needed help into the shower and the nurse told me I could walk in a do it myself. I had the most difficult time and she made me feel like I was being whiny or complaining a lot. I really wish I had a nurse like you

The first real shower I got in the hospital after my son was born I sat on a chair under the water for probably a half hour. It was so relaxing after all that

We need to go through the hospitals and do a clean sweep. If they're not like this, then send them their walking papers. Seriously. Tired of the malice towards birthing moms.

That is so sweet, my first showers sucked, I think I just cried the whole time because it hurt so much but I think a nice warm towel would have made it so much nicer

I wish every new momma could have amazing L&D nurses like I did after my son was born. You guys make all the difference in those first few days!

I pray that I get a nurse who will care about me this much here in just 6 months when I'm giving birth. You seem like the absolute best, you truly love your patients and your job and it's so comforting to see.

I'm not a mom but I think that getting a warm bath after having a baby must make you fell way better
