I would have benefited so much from a mom that was understanding and appreciative. Sometimes you need your support system to be strong for you. ❤

I went through depression & severe social anxiety throughout my teens and my bedroom often looked like this, sometimes even worse with stuff all over the floor. I really struggled emotionally and I was shamed for the state of my bedroom and forced to greet any visitors who would be shown my room to shame me by my parents. If my parents had recognised my depression and anxiety before it almost ended me, I may have never needed a therapist to pull me out of it. These kids are lucky to have a mother that sees her kids struggle and helps cheer them up ❤

As a teenager with undiagnosed clinical depression, having my mom help me clean every once in a while would have been so wonderful. I was often overwhelmed with a mess and didn’t know where to start, nor how to keep it clean as I went.

My mom would do this for me many times when I was going through severe mental health issues as a teen. That’s just one of the billion of reasons I take care of her as much as possible today. Good mothers deserve the world.

I would’ve never survived high school had I not been blessed with a mother like you. ❤️ It means the world to her, I’m sure of it.

I love the example you are setting for your kids. Being sensitive to another’s struggles and seeking ways to lighten their load are skills all of us need to successfully human. ❤

I moved back in with my mom after my divorce. I was in my 40s. She used to do this for me until she was no longer able. My mom was not a hugger and rarely told anyone she loved them . This was her way of telling me she loved me. ❤🙏🏼

I would cry if my mom did that... I always get very emotional when someone doese a favor without me asking for it, because I can't tell in words how much thankful I would be because no one often does something like that to help me. Your daughter is really lucky to have a mom like you who understands her when she needs it the most, and I'm sure she's really thankful ❤

This is really sweet! My parents used to reset my room and leave gifts on my bed. Its the best! I now do this for my kiddos.

it’s great you can do this for your child & she trusts you to do so. My mom worked extremely hard working full time, driving us to all of your sports practices, and making dinner for us every night. moms are the real superheros

My mom did this for me when I was a kid and I hope to be just as wonderful as a mom for my newborn daughter. These are acts of kindness kids never forget. ❤

I got sick today. I'm having a bad week too because of school and my mother doesn't even CARE. When my dad went outside, she showed her real face. She started yelling at me for everything, even if I cry she won't even notice. You are the best mom someone can imagine....

As adults, we get so caught up in our own stress that we forget how hard it can be to be a kid! The fact that you can recognize that she has a full plate is so important. Good job, mama!
